Who is suitable for the 2nd booster of COVID Pfizer vaccine?

MOH has recently issued an updated circular to recommend the 2nd booster of COVID vaccines for the following groups of people:
- All persons aged 80 years and above
- Persons aged 60 -79 years old can also opt for a 2nd booster to get additional protection or those having underlying medical conditions
- Persons living in aged care facilities like nursing homes
Patients are recommended to receive the mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or Novavax. Sinovac can only be used only if patients are contraindicated to take the mRNA or Novavax vaccines.
How to book your Pfizer shot at our clinic?
Book your appointment through the official vaccine appointment site here: https://www.vaccine.gov.sg and select our clinic (Affinity Medical Clinic).
Appointment times available are from 9am to 12pm on every Monday to Friday.
Please bring proof of your identification and set aside about 1 hour for the visit, including 15-30 mins of observation time.
You may experience side effects of pain and swelling over the injection site or slight fever. You are advised for adequate hydration and avoid strenuous exercise for the first 2 weeks.
