At Affinity Medical Clinic, our doctors aim to focus on holistic and preventive healthcare services for our patients. As our name suggests, we believe in the kinship with our patients and endeavour to build long term relationships and establish mutual trust with our patients. We also strive to maintain the highest quality of care and empathy from our consultations and treatments.
We offer a wide range of medical services comprising of treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, heath screenings, vaccinations and other simple procedures like dressing of wounds, nebulisation and stitching. Please refer to our Services page for more details.
We are also a Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) which means that subsidies will be provided for you should you have acute respiratory infection (ARI) symptoms and require medications as well as swab tests, subject to MOH guidelines. The name ‘Affinity’, and also our Chinese name 齐心, reflect our commitment to build rapport and establish long term relationships with our patients. We believe that with the collective effort between our patients and us, we will be able to enhance the provision of healthcare services within the community that we serve, and also spread the message of the importance of preventative healthcare through regular heath screenings and vaccinations. This is essential not just for you in this generation, but also for our future generations.
Dr Derrick Lam Wei Ting graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2013. Having a keen interest in Family Medicine, he pursued his post graduate training and subsequently obtained his Graduate Degree in Family Medicine in 2018 as well as Family Physician certification in 2019. He has vast clinical experience and worked with outstanding physicians in various departments in the restructured hospitals (such as Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dermatology) as well as the National Healthcare Group polyclinics. His special interests include Health Promotion, Chronic Diseases, Men’s health and Dermatology.
Always smiley, he takes genuine effort to listen attentively to patient’s problems and take holistic care of them. Dr Derrick is strongly committed to making effective communication the basis of all doctor-patient interactions. He is blessed with the ability to speak English, Mandarin and Hokkien relatively well to be able to understand his patients’ needs. His interpersonal skill is his strongest asset, both in interacting with patients and his peers. He connects very well to all types of patients, from small children to the elderly from all backgrounds.
